i have a 06 3500 silverado lbz with the two drive shafts,is there a way to have a custom one made to were you only need one?we had some one piece drive shafts shortened so why cant we have the double shunk to one?is this possible?thanks for your help.fla boy

A little salty but they look nice and Im sure they could get you into a one piece. I'm going to be usin one of these for pullin.

Since your truck is a long bed, a one piece may not work. I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb is 70"? If you need a shaft longer than that, you need a 2 piece.

Why do you want to swap it?

well i was thinkin(here we go) that i might be losing power?my dad always droped his motors and shortened his drive shafts,maybe it dosent apply here.

Na. Don't mess with it. Te 2 piece is just there because of the length & to fight vibrations. I prefer the setup you have because the shaft s steel as opposed to aluminum.

yeah,it is steel i had to sand them bothdown and sprayed them with hi temp eng paint,everyone says that i s nice so maybe i'm thinking to hard or not enough.
