What programers can turn off egr?

They are about $100 bucks and then some for the tuning. Good way to go if you want just one tune, but the best thing would be to get the whole setup and make your own tunes. fish91 02-03-2009, 11:43 PM I know efi would be best way to go thats why I have not purchased a programer yet. I don't want to buy programer then wish I bought efi. Its just that efi is 2 times the price plus I need gages that brings total over $1000 dollars. The owner of the FlashScan unit would usually make the purchase because they need to provide certain details (ie serial number) from their device to allow us to issue the license. You could then reimburse them for the cost. In terms of a regular user or a dealer, either could do the tuning for you. Our licensing scheme licenses the ECM/TCM serial number to the FlashScan hardware. So if in the future if you purchased EFILive yourself, you would need to use another license to tune your truck because your original tune wouldn't be on your FlashScan device.
