I noticed several of you had connected to your gas vent line instead of the larger intake line. Is there a reason you did this? I was planning on placing a T fitting in the larger hose but would rather attach to the vent hose if no one has had any problems. Has anyone set up their auxillary tank to be gravity fed only with a vented gas gap on the auxillary tank? I was hoping to use a ball valve and not go the electric fuel pump route.

Thanks for the help.

Anyone have better pictures of how to pierce the outer part of the fill hose. I just read that the smaller hose running beside it is not to the fuel tank. Where did you guys that did run the auxillary tank fill portion through the outer venting portion of the original fill tube get the nipple or part to pierce the first part of the hose?

Pull the filler neck, and it will make sense. 5 minutes, if that long, to remove.

I don't remember exactly how I made my hole; probably either a knife or a drill bit. Just a rubber hose. I sealed my nipple with silicone; never leaked.
