I just got the ppe 300 tune and yes i also have a stock tranny for the moment...what would be better on that tune for defueling? and also it takes awhile to shift gears when im on it.. it kinda feels like its sliping but its not. what would cause that

I would def. use defuel. And if its not slipping your stock tranny on the 300 tune it will be soon. If you baby it, it will last awhile. But nail it very much and you'll start feeling it slip soon.

Unless you have the HOT+2 ET you dont have to worry about defuel. The ET model is the only one that actually turns the defuel off.

It's not so much a matter of defuel or no defuel, it's more a matter of putting the proper amount of fuel in during a shift. Defuel is necessary for the Allison to survive (ask MikeL) the key is to get rid of the lay over without beating up on the trans too hard.

If you just put it in your TCM will need a few shifts to learn the new power. I wouldnt be doing any WOT runs untill it starts to shift better.
