my turbo after doing a dounut it started sputtring when it was spooling down does this mean the turbos on its way to going out any info would be great?

well i was doing some digging and i think its turbo bark myself if so is it something i should be worried about? and what do u mean by user sig? i new so i still working on this

If it's bark then just "ease" off the throttle after the smoke show and you should be good.:)

Yup that is turbo bark.

I think mine has gotten slightly worse about barking since installing the kodiak mouthpiece.

that's not exactly turbo bark, but it's nothign harmful. it's the air that you were trying suck in rushing back out the filter making a fluttering sound..that's the key word there. I'm guessing you have a cold air intake, very common with those.

turbo bark is the air rushing back to the turbo and stopping the impellar in it's tracks and it sounds way different than flutter. It's deep sounding cough and is normally while driving and in between shifts and hard acceleration and you can feel it slow the truck down. big difference in sound between them. this will hurt the turbo.

it's the same air doing two different things basically.

i have listened to some videos of a blown turbo but none of turbo barking it does kind of a whooping noise about 3 or 4 times i have heard it before comeing from 6.0 powerstrokes and i have heard from them that that means the turbo going and i pretty sure its not fluttering noise i just wondering cuz i at 99,287 miles and if the turbo is going i wanna get that done before the warrenty out
