I was doing just fine and was quite happy with my truck until I found this site a few weeks back. The idea at first was to have a nice daily driver that I could use to haul the fast stuff to the track. For the record, you guys are a bad influence on me. :eek: Just once in my life I wanted to keep a vehicle relatively stock. After seeing what some of the guys here have done with their trucks, I realize there is no way I'm going to be able to leave well enough alone. :banghead:

My goal? A reliable, fuel efficient, mild mannered daily driver to get me to and from work. I also want to pull a solid 12 second quarter mile. I figure a TTS Extreme and some N20 should do the trick. :ro) So after hours of my own research :duh: , I still need to get some good ole feedback from you all. I've already spoken to :pimp: and will be heading down to his shop tomorrow after work to talk some more about possible upgrades for Alli and hopefully get an appointment to have them installed.

So from those of you who have been there done that, or are there doing it, I wanted your opinions on the upgrade(s) you've had, and prefer.

Yeah, I heard all about the fuses and oil. I'll stop by Pep Boys on the way down there for the locking caps. As a preventative measure, I think I'll run the diesel tank really low too so there isn't much left just in case...

Take it in dirty and don't leave anything shiny on it, either--especially gold. Mike's collecting gold to smelt his own gold spoke rims for his truck. He tells me the neighborhood regulars are gonna be sooooo jealous.
