Ditto. Haven't upgraded my turbo yet but still noticed better throttle response at all speeds, and less throttle required to maintain speed. Banks instructions are excellent. Make sure you use the mounting bolts that come with it since the stock ones are too long, and wear gloves when removing your grill to prevent skinned knuckles. I used a Dremel and cutting disks (went through four) to cut out the illustrated section of the air box support bracket, which is required to provide clearance for the lower passenger-side intercooler exit duct.

P.S. If you want to prevent oil from accumulating in your new Techni-Cooler get Tony Burkhard's PCV Reroute Kit.

How does the Banks compare to a Spearco? that's what I was thinking of going with.

Glad to hear Positive remarks! question about the reroute kit... what is the pricing for it and how much oil has been seen to accumilate with the upgrade Vs. stock

From everything I have read the Banks will not handle 50+psi boost. Spearco was supposed to be coming out with an HD cooler for our trucks that would handle up to 100psi. Not sure if they did or not but when I get ready Spearco is what I am going with. Don't get me wrong I think Banks is a great product by far. I just like to plan for the future (if ya know what I mean).

the cooler is worth it but never heard of not holding 50 PSI. im running about 42 PSI and i dont have any problems with it plus they told me they were tested on a twin set up that will hold about 80 PSI. thats from banks techs them self.
