I have had my check engine light come on a few times lately and then the truck will go into limp mode. i pulled the obd code and it ame up as a major fuel leak, which came with 5 pages of tests. i don't have a fuel leak but do have ongoing symptoms that are troubling. everytime the check engine light has come on was while i'm pushing the truck, not hard but..... also the engine will jump from 185deg to 210 in a short period of time while climbing or passing. i have checked the oil and the level hasn't risen nor does it smell like fuel, and the last 2 tanks of fuel i have jumped up in milage? has the injector failure ever been a leaning condition? if it's lean would that build heat? any help would be appreciated.:help:

your heat is normal, what do you have done to it?

no mods yet other than leveling the front end and running 285's. i am ready to ad a programmer but am concerned about the engine fuel code. i would like to get it resolved before i add anything.

Your fuel filter could cause a lean condition if it were plugged...
