Isn't it the design of the manifold that is part of the BS injector replacement situation? I would think it would be more cost effective and conveinent for GM and for the people that are directly attched to this problem (us) to upgrade all LB7s with the new style manifold so each injector can be replaced individually rather than a whole drawn out deal.
Am I crazy?

Maybe but that's for the Doc's to decide. Different year injector use different voltages. You have to replace the whole top of the engine along with electronics to use different injectors. Look for RickDLance I thin is his user name, he has successfully done an upgrade on the top half of the engine.

Gotta change the heads too.
Why would GM waste all that money. LB7's are going out of warranty fast.
