06 Chevy Express with a Duramax with no mods 117k miles : I just bought it out of NY last weekend and had it shipped in. well its got a problem. It idles great once I take off it wont take gas. Its cold up there so I thought maybe fuel was gelled. so I put in heated garage for 2 day. I changed fuel filter air filter. No help Check engine light is on code po101 I changed the mass air no help. It acts like fuel pressure. You guys have any idle?

I have an '06 Sierra Dmax that had the same symptom (started and idled great, no throttle response), three trips to the dealer result in three APP (Accelerator Positioner Pedal) assemblies. No pedal codes (no codes at all) Each lasted aprroxiamately 1k miles. Then the MAF threw codes, was replaced, failed within 200 miles, then I got a real tech who found the 5V to those 2 items would climb to 12V (IIRC), failing the APP or the MAF. Replaced the ECM and 80k miles later, it is definitely cured.

So I would start with testing/ substition of the Accelerator pedal assy.

An '07.5 here did the same thing and IIRC, it had a code for the Fuel pressure, was reset, and never came back (57 miles). It now has 24k miles. But it definitely threw a code (and turned on the CEL).

Also shows fuel rail pressure low. Anybody know what the pressure should be?

My Solus pro scanner is putting these codes out:

p0101 mass flow sensor performance
p0102 mass air flow circuit low voltage
p0087 fuel pressure too low

I already change mass air sensor

I found the problem someone just had it apart for some reason. A few hoses was loose but the passenger side intercooler boot wasnt locked in was causing the problem.

So now I need to know what you guys have done to your van for upgrades. Im using it to pull my 20' enclose trailer to 8 motorcycle races I run this year.
