Picked up boat from storage today, this is the first time I have pulled with this truck sense I purchased. Truck couldn't even run the speed limit on level ground with holding the pedal on the floor. Boost was at 8psi and egt at 750, no black smoke, no white smoke can anyone think of a reason for the lack of power. The boat is 23ft and weighs about 3200lbs.

What's the timing set at? stock 3.5 degs or more advanced?
8 psi is about stock.Looked into boost controller/fooler 3 bar map?

Lift pump not working (bad pump or or missing 12v power via OPS), or fuel filter partially blocked, change filter and do lift pump check 1st IP by itself will make truck go, but add a load it falls flat even if it runs great empty or with no trailer.

How do I check pump because I can hear it run even after I have turned the key off for just a couple of seconds. Not for sure on timing. Truck runs great when in normal use.

put new filter in and still has no power. goes in monday to the diesel shop.

Have you ever opened the brass T or bleed valve with the engine idling? If the engine stalls OPS is bad, if it puts out fuel, ok.

Blowing air back up the inline with the T open will dislodge crap in the system but you have to bleed the air.
