I have read here and other forums about an aftermarket latch for the extended cab rear door windows, but can't find the part anywhere.

Anyone know where to get these, and if they work. I also read a bulletin about adjusting the rear latch with pliers, but I would probably end up with broken windows at the worst, scratched paint or windows at the best.

I also read about a "dollar test" for testing for seal around the doors, front or rear, is this basically just seeing if you can slide a dollar through the door seal?
