Can someone educate me on this matter. I did a search and found a wonderful thread with pics but I just need clarification.

Is the IP fuel metering module A and the optic sensor one and the same?

Can I swap it from one pump to the other without too much difficulty?
Is there any adjustment I have to make to the sensor when i do the swap?

Or should I change the entire pump? I have a pump which I know works. :)

If you have a pump that you know really works,I would go that route.You could install another optical sensor,but there is a web link to installing one that shows step by step instructions on how to do it.I have the link if you need it.

Judging from the response dieselpro gave you,i would assume he means change the pump.
