Hello everyone,

I have a couple of questions on the edge monitor. I noticed that you can change the backdown time on the monitor. Is there a default for this? I believe mine is set at 1 minute backdown. I was playing with it and accidently changed the time. I dont remember what the it read before I changed it.

My other question is when I have the gear display on my screen, I see P for Park, N for neutral and R for reverse, now when I put in in D it shows a 1, if I put it in 3 it shows a 1 and if I put it in 2 it still shows a 1. Is this normal? or should it say D, 3, 2, 1 when you put it in those gears?

It will display the gear you are currently in. When you are in "D" and standing still it will read "1". When yoou are going 75 mph it will say "5"

when you put your gear selecter in D, or 3, or other that just changes your shift points. the edge monitor displayes 1,2,3,4 and 5 as the gears you are in. So in any of the gear selector positions it will show 1, 2,3 and depending on how low of gear you select, it may or may not ever show 4 and 5 on the monitor.

it basically means 1st gear, 2nd gear, etc ,etc.... it doesn't mean D, or 3 low, 2 low, etc..from a dead stop it will show 1..at highway speeds it will be in 5 (OD)

okay so nothing is wrong with my edge then..I thought something was wrong....so it kicks in at 75mph
