Can anyone tell me which air/fuel/oil filters are made in USA? It might be silly, but I want my money to go to an US manufacturer verses a Chinese manufacturer. Even if it costs me a buck or two more. Thanks.

Since your from Texas the big question should be which filter is NOT made in Mexico. Im sure more are made there than the far east.

If you used that practice in buying clothes you might go naked or have to make your own. Hard to find clothes made in the USA. Even my $105 New Balances are made in China.

I believe Baldwin, Wix and NAPA are made in the states but then where do they get the materials to make the filtersn from.

I would guess even the big three get some parts from China for there new trucks'

"Buy America" used to be in thing and its hard to do anymore but we can keep on trying.

Per Racor, the fuel filter is made in the USA. Since the AC Delco, Wix, NAPA and Baldwin are the same filter, just different labeling, they are also made in the USA.

One member reported a couple of months ago that he had to do an unexpected fuel filter change while traveling. He could not remember the brand name of filter, but thought it said made in China on the box. I called up Racor about that, and the rep said it was not one of theirs, but he was not aware of any other manufacturers for the Dmax filter. Maybe the poster was mistaken?? If anyone has seen a DMax fuel filter made in China, please let us know the details.

The last two stock fuel filters that I have bought were "Parker Interceptors". Parker is Racor's parent company, & they clearly state " Made in Korea" -:ton the filter.

Just checked what I have on the shelf...For now, the napa filters (for the duramax) are made in usa....Of course, who knows if that will be true 6 months down the road....
That's not to say every filter here is made in the usa...korea, poland (I find that amusing ):h ), canada, mexico, among other places make filters for wix as well..
