We've got an 04' Dmax 2500... my wife was driving it one rainy day and said all of a sudden the drivers side wiper quit. It's been a couple of weeks since we've had rain so I haven't been too concearned about it but now there's rain in the forecast so I need to get it fixed. It's just the dirvers side wiper, the passenger side works fine. Any ideas on what the problem is, and how to fix? I'm hoping it's something I can fix myself.

Thanks in advance.

is the arm just loose. tighten the nut or the transmission is broken. i see lots of loose arms.

Might be easier to move the steering wheel and pedals to the passenger side .

I 2nd that emotion. At the driver's arm pivot remove the black cap. Now run the wipers and see if the nut under the cap is turning. Nut and shaft turns= loose nut. Nut doesn't turn= wiper transmission has disconnected, probably due to wear.

When setting the arm, with the wipers cycled to park, lift a blade and look for a dot or line on the glass about mid-blade. This is an alignment mark to allow proper positioning of the arm assy.
