Is the dealership the only place to do a reflash? I called a dealer by me and they want to keep my truck like 2 hours and charge me $100. Anyone from austin texas and know where its cheaper?

why do you need the truck reflashed? 100 doesn't sound completely out of line.

I have a thread below this one i think. Long story short my quadzilla is giving key and seed errors and quad cant find a problem so i was going to try to have the PCM reflashed.

alot! maybe around 120 ish. 100 for a full reflash doesn't sound too out of line especially if you're having problems with a tuner.

you shouldn't have any trouble changing it yourself. there should be a diy in maintenance for this. might be good to invest in a water in fuel removal tool to help along with a filter wrench. after you do it the first time you should have no trouble after that

Call Guy at Socal Diesel and he should be able to sell you a used PCM fully progamed for about 300ish. He may also be able to uncorrupt you PCM. Did you remove your quadzilla before you took it to the stealer? Good luck Link to Socal Diesel http://www.socaldiesel.com/
