Ok , when i first got my LMM first thing i did was go buy a drop in K&N, well this was my first diesel so by it throwing codes at the mass air ( thanks to the Diesel Place forum to find out what it was..) next my local shop recommended a bully dog I think triple threat, it was all that was available at the time. Then after reading the advavtages of the DPF delete I went 4" turbo back with only the muffler (not stock) and ordered the steath 2. No since I have a MAC i can't update the software but it vs. like 2 .42 off road only, and no bully dog of course. I haven't put in a EGT sensor just cause i don't trust myself and i cant find a pillar that matches the stock tan textured pillar, nor do I know anyone here in Sherman , Texas who could install it.
Now when we first get a new truck, care bike or whatever your fancy it seems really fast and then we add this or that for a little or lot more. I seriously felt alot more out of my bullydog and stock exhaust no K&N at its 70 or 90 ( for you guys that run them) and got rally decent MPG. My only complaint was that I have totyo at 265/75/16 load d, which toyo lists at 31.7". I had to set my tires 33.75 to match my GPS.
Now Ive pulled all that off still the same tires no dpf, 4" turbo back to muffler, stealth 2, and still the same toyos ( been thinking about one of these new dry filters so i wont throw the MAS) Economy is at the dic 14.3 and worse hand calculated and when I fill up i always have to put about 1.3 gallons more fuel in than what it says i used. Tires are set at GPS at 30.75 which runs about 1.5 mph slower than the dash says, my current tune is on the 50 off road, and i still say the bully dog out performed it but there customer service sucks A$$! I love dealing with I think his name was Nate from a vendor here off the site. so to make a long story shorten up !st why do you guys see that they can't ever get tire sizes right? and that the bully dog with DPF pulled harder than the Steath2 does without the DPF also taking advise on maybe buying a cold air intake with one of the new oiless filters, give me some good advice and feel free to pm me i log on about 1 time a week, also i have my stock front bumper (chevy) if anyone wants to buy or trade something out.......
