What are the most useful upgrades that you can do to the LBZ for little or no money? I would assume the list would start off with:

-intake box mod?
-intake resonator cap-off?
-maybe pcv reroute?
-egr block off?

Will any of these hurt the truck? Are they worth doing?

I have a diablosport programmer on the way and a turbo back exhaust already on it, so im just looking for the little things I can do to increase the reliability and mileage of my truck. I work the crap out of it and dont want to do anything that would eventually hurt it, however I know GM put a bunch of crap on this truck that I don't need down here in Texas, where it doesnt snow, but there are tumbleweeds and dust clouds as far as the eye can see. (As well as the occasional illegal to avoid running over)

Resonator cap-off doesn't do anything big. I've hurd that the turbo spools up faster, but that about all i've hurd. The other three are worth doing though imho

ive done the cap and its worthless. some say the resonator can crack but mine had a rubber coupling where it supposedly cracks. but it is like $2 so to each his own

some resignators have cracks in the plastic allowing dirt to enter your motor. With it off it "sounds" like it is lighting faster. With it off you can hear the turbo whistle better and no chance of sucking dirt.
