On performance setting my boost number are 20 to 21. I have noticed that on tow the boost numbers are the same. Is that normal?

Could this have something to do with my (limp or lack of power at wot)

I went back to stock with my truck for a bit and this weekend stock i was seeing 24lbs of boost at WOT from a takeoff unloaded.. Elevation from what i hear is also a factor the higher in elevation you are the lower your boost numbers will be.. I'm at sea level here in Cali or close to it.

im runnin the lb7 i hit 33 max stock turbo/ big head wastegate

i can hit 33-35 with the 6gun, stock turbo

I don't know how much a new fuel filter is going to help but looks to me like my numbers are about 10 low.

I plan on installing the new filter tomorrow. Ill post the gain (I hope).

boost numbers all depend on what the tune calls for. may only max at that particular number is that setting.

OK, I installed my new fuel filter today. After install I checked my boost numbers and they were the same 21 to 23 wheather in stock position or performance.

I called Bully dog after I got home and was told by one of there rep's that the bully dog system does not increase the turbo boost. The HP comes from timeing and so on and so forth, yada, yada, yada.

Does that sound right.

sounds about right. your truck should boost more but there are some variables light TC slippage, load etc. i wouldnt worry about it. Get efi live and crank the boost yourself!

What do you get with EFI. The same power increases as I have with my bully dog plus more boost?

efi you can change... everything about the truck.. cam make 500 + hp tunes ect.. its bad a** stuff . im savin up 4 mine.. just need a laptop.. u might see some bigger boost #"S if u run in tow haul, i know in t/h i get 5 lbs more or so.. there is just more load on the engine. but im not sure how it works on an lbz, im on the lb7..

I hold 32 and will spike 35. Tune calls for 32 and it holds right there.

What could you expect to pay for the EFI unit.

I am takeing my truck in to the dealer tomorrow for an oil change and a diagnostic on my fuel rail pressure. I took my BD program out today. They don't really care any way.
