Been going to get an Edge set up (because I am new to this game and just want a little more power for towing without spending a ton on prgramer and guages) but have been nervous of the shut down issue. I emailed a guy @ Edge and he said that with the 10.4 version of the software there have been no problems of this issue since. Does this seem correct? HAs it been fixed?

I had this issue with the old software on the edge where it would just shut the truck off completley when it screwed up. But since my unit was out of warranty for me to upgrade to the new software had to fork out 350 bucks. granted i got whole new unit and everything but was kinda pricy since had to pay out more money for an update when some programmers you can update yourself through there website by pluging it into your computer and uploading the new software to the programmer, but i have had no issues with the new software and have had it for almost a year now.

I like the edge juice and attitude combo because it has your gauges and everythin you would need in the attitude monitor and you can adjust it on the fly. but if it happens again i will prolly go with a different programming setup.
