I plan on movin the horsepower up on the d-max but want to take care of the fuel issue first. The FASS seems like an easy one unit but i wanted some opinions from those of you who have run them.

mine works well..........will suck the fuel cup dry when you get below a quarter tank

I've only had mine in for about a month now. But so far it seems to work just fine. I have the 90 gph model and I haven't had the tank below a quarter yet to see if it drains the cup out. With the stock tank, I recall I could go till the fuel light went on. But I've replaced the stock tank with a 56 gallon model that is allot longer, so I've been slowly going lower and lower till I see just how far I can push it. ):h One thing you may want to think about, the 150 gph is the one to go with if you are going to do some extreem power mods.

I had one on my dodge and it worked great. My buddy has one on his 05 and it works great on it too. Once I get somemore fuel I will put one on my 05 GMC too.

I have a 150 gph pump/filter assemblly and it works well so far but the big problem with these large return pumps is that once you get below 1/3 of a tank, the pump will suck the fuel cup dry and start cavitating and possiblly pumping air to the engine and stalling the vehicle.

But an easy way around that is to have the pump hooked up to a seperate on/off switch and when you get below 1/3 tank just turn it off and the fuel will still flow thru it allowing you to keep running.

Still trying to figure out a way around the factory basket asemblly to allow more fuel in but I can see it won't be easy.

And if you plan on adding over 150hp then I would highly recommend a lift pump, makes a big diffrence for fuel starvation issues
