There are several diesel performance shops in Texas. The only one I can think of right now is Quad.

There MUST be some Texas members in here, and I'm sure they will pipe up.

Hey hoser! :D

Yeah, this is where I pretty much hang out anymore.

Big Blue placed 1st yesterday, and 2nd at the first event, so it is the current points leader in the SoCal DHRA series.

Three of the "basic" mods can be done in your driveway with simple tools:

Exhaust
Tuners
Intake

Just these alone will increase the power of the truck about 30% safely. Guages will be needed if you want to tow with more than ~325rwhp.

There are some excellent writeups on performance mods in here.

I know there is one in Emory called Performance Diesel. They mainly deal with Quad tho. Their website is www.dieselhotrods.com I don't know much about them except that a guy came up to my work with a white duramax from there. He said he was pushin 750RWHP. It had injectors, nitrous, quad, and a few other goodies.

RunninHorn- If you want to swing down to Houston, Diesel Innovations will take care of you. I will be down there permanently at the end of the month and will be able to help you with anything you need.

The only one close around here is in Gainseville. It is HPD (high performance diesel). I have never used them but they are closer to you than houston. Gainseville is about an hour and a half from Dallas. You may give them a call and see what they can do for you.
