Gauges Come To Life Then Die.this Sometime Causes The Tranny, the Allison,to Only Shift Into Reverse Or 3rd.usually A Restart Will
Correct This Problem.somtimes The Dash Come To Life And Dies
And Will Only Come Back If I Hold The Tripmeter In.latley Somtimes
The Cluster Will Die For Only A Second And Come Back With No Tranny
Problems Just A Little "blip".so My Question Is Will A New Cluster Fix This Or Is It Somthing Else?i Have Seen Other People With This Can Someone Please Help?

I've heard of several instrument cluster failures, and the problem was one or two bad batteries. Multiple failures could all be caused by low voltage, or possibly a bad ground.
Have the batteries load tested individually.
If replacing the batteries, they must be replaced in pairs, and the batteries must be the same size, load capacity, age, ...
With an 02, (as I have), your batteries are probably near or at end of life.
I've run my batteries through four WI winters, and most likely will replace them before next winter with Optima Red Tops.

I did replace the batteries about 18 months ago.the problem although it does not happen that often does not seem to be based on ANY weather conditions.I picked up interstate's they work fine but i will take your advice and check them.To me the strange thing is when the cluster dies I hold my finger on the trip meter and it works let go and it does not.I just got my 4th set of injectors and put in a new fuel pump on a very cold ontario winter.thanks
