I think a lift pump is a must in cold weather,what do you think ?

I think not a "must". Tons of trucks doing fine without one.

In my 02 gmc I run a auto-meter in the line going from the oem filter to the cp-3,It runs 6 to 7 psi at idle,at -15 the psi going 70 mph was 0 to 1 psi and 6 at idle,I have a fass 90 on it,the oem filter has 3200 miles,wow love this cold weather

i agree, its a must....i have never gelled up! going since october of 03!

X2 With 4 trucks and over 600,000 miles never gelled,all trucks had a fass

I never gelled up either and I don't have a lift pump.....yet!

My 4 year old carter only runs at the track or to prime a filter. I'm not gellin.

not a must, 100K in MN and no lift pump never gelled. I scewed myself on this post didnt I.

I had all three of my filters gel including the two on my airdog. Had to put a heater on them for 10 minutes before the pump would run right.
