Well I pay 50k for a 3500 srw d/a only for it to come with the crummy painted steel wheels. I located a set of H2 rims and stayed with a 265/70-17 tire and had them installed this week. I was helping some friends move today and the driver's side rubbed on my mud flaps. This thing sits loooowww. I am going through withdrawal from my f-350 with a 4" lift and although I don't miss the bone jarring ride and enjoy the ease of entry and egress I really think this truck sits way too low. I really don't want to go the lift route but looks like I am going to have to crank the t-bars or install a cognito 2" lift to level things out. I don't mind a little rake but this is rediculous. Anybody else notice this about their 3500 srw? You would think the cc would come with the green keys or at least heavier t-bars. I can't imagin hanging a plow off the front end and am reallly hesitant to even install a brush guard at this point. The tires only rub when backing and with the wheel cranked to the left but I plan on going to 285 next winter to go with a little more aggressive tread than the summer ribs I have right now and don't want to hack things up. :help:

You are probably going to have to either go with the congito lift, crank the t-bars or live with it. I know what you mean about not wanting to cut up your truck. I don't really want to do it either if I put on bigger tires. If you look at the post about how to crank t-bars, I posted a link on how to do it, if you needed some step by step instructions.

my stealer guy said cranking the t-bars voids my warranty...but why does gm have a way to crank them????there is a sticker near the place to crank that says the same thing-???
