I'm looking for foglights to mount were the factory ones would have if my truck would have come with them also is the wiring already there were I could just plug the lights into instead of splicing into the wires I have a 2004 with lb7 motor if that makes a difference also looking for an exhaust tip in s.s. to go from my 4" to 5"

if you get foglights, get the factory foglights, I think I paid $140.00 from the GM dealer when I had my 2003 chevy gas motored truck, the lights came with a wiring harness and the dash mounted switch. It was a very easy bolt on installation, the truck should be pre-wired for the light, all you have to do is bolt the foglights to the frame, plug in the connectors (already there) and put in the switch in the dash (there is a place for it) and your good to go. You will not need the wire harness that comes with the factory foglights. I cut out the holes to put the foglights in unber the bumper, didn't like the way it turned out, so I bought a new plastic thinggy (factory) with the holes pre-cut and it looked much nicer. Total time to complete the job, about 1 1/2 hrs and about $200.00. You will not need to program the computer for the foglight addition, at least I didn't for mine. Have fun!

Agree with OEM lights, though my 04 had to have the PCM programed by the dealer. MBRP makes a really nice 5" SS tip. JJ :)

Does anyone know what yr they stopped having you to get the fog lights programmed? I have a 2005 LLY and I also want to add the fog lights but someone told me the dealer had to program it?

I've read where some folks with an '04 had to have the programming done after installing the factory foglight but on my '04 2500 (previous truck), I didn't have to have it programmed. All I did was install the lights, hook everything up, install the switch/button, and all worked from the beginning. Seems to be luck of the draw....

Piaa makes a light kit just for the 03 and up. I found this out when looking for some for my 02. They plug right into the stock harness.:cool2:

I have a set of OEM's that are taking up space in my shop that I can give you a deal on. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I installed them -- did not need to reprogram.
