Anyone had some experiance with these tires? Every single review I've read about them everyone loved them. They were rated the top mud terrain in a couple tire tests. BUT I want some people I trust and have trucks like mine to review them. The main reason I'm looking at them is because they come in a 315/70/17, and I really want a mud tire for the hummer wheels, and I'm not so sure about the Hankook dynapro m/t's. I've looked at the KM2's but friends who've had them say they wear alot faster than the old bfg muds, and they werent that great to begin with. So I've kinda eliminated those, not to mention the price on them is borderline ridiculous in a 35x12.50/17.

I've searched the forums and there isn't a whole lot of info out there, and whats out there is older posts.

SOO I'm curious to what you guys think about the destination M/t. I've actually got a set of 285/75/16s in the garage from a friends truck. But I'm looking to get some hummer wheels for the truck, and want to go with bigger tires, since I think the 285 BFG atkos on my truck look small.

Thanks for any help or advice!

they are a great tire, keep em rotated or they will wear kinda quick... they pull like crazy...

Yeah, I plan to rotate every 3k and balance every 6k.. I want a mud terrain that will last a good while too, I understand its a mud tire and its going to wear out sooner than an AT, but I dont want a tire thats shot and done for at 12k. Most of the reviews I've read say they last a long time, but we have some heavy ass trucks lol. I'm glad you like them, I'm really liking them best out of my options thus far. By the way, how are you doing your rotates?? Cross or just front to back and back to front?

Thanks for the reply! Keep them coming!

front to back i do my own rotates and to swich from side to side you have to break the tire down off the rim due to rotation tension in the tire, its dangerous to swap sides without keeping the tire spinning the same direction it could come apart. i got 37000 out of my set...

I'll most likely do front to backs as well. 37k out of a set of mud terrains seems pretty good to me. Anyone else want to chime in with experiances?? I've heard of chunking in a few cases.. but it looks like firestone replaced the tires in those situations..

I wouldnt buy them again. Next time im getting Wranglers.

In one inch of snow they suck in 2 feet they are awesome...sucks when you get a dusting of snow and have to drive everywhere in 4wd

i dont know about snow, but they dominate in the mud. i have a friend with bfg m/t's that got stuck i pulled out to him, drove past him hooked up to him and pulled him out. so they proved there self to me.

My Destination M/Ts should be in any day now. Can't wait to get them mounted and on my truck! I plan on getting them siped at a tire shop to improve wet and light snow traction, and also to prolong the tread life.

Between my buddies, family and I we have sets on 5 different vehicles. S10 Blazer (235/75/15), Z71 (285/75/16), Dodge 1500 (33" on R17), F150 (32" on 17) and an '89 Toyota (35s). None of those are as heavy as a Dmax but my buddies Dodge has had them about 30K and they are still about 50% tread. I love mine on my z. I live on a farm and test those tires out daily, I'm yet to see anything that compares that isn't some crazy type MT.

They will be the next tire that goes on my Dmax.

I have the Destination A\T's and they are rated #1 for customer satisfaction, I woundn't be scared of the M\T's at all, like others say keep them rotated!

yeah i had the destinations on my pickup....badass in snow, mud and rocks....not so good in sand or on wet pavement but hey thats what you get with a mud terrain...the only problem i ever had was climbin rock trails in colorado...the tires worked dang good except for the fact it pulled a cleat off....but if your lookin to pull or offroad or for just a damn good lookin tire this is one of'em! i had 285/75/R16's on my pickup....i love them...i would have bought them again if they made them in the size i wanted on my 18's...the wrangler mt/r's are pretty good but dont match up anything compared to the Destinations!

I will never own another set, I have had two replaced for lug separation, I bought 2 more after I put my tie rod sleeves on and didn't get it lined back up properly, and out of those two one was out of round. the firestone dealer told me it would not balance due to my rim being bent, four months later bought new rims and had them instaled by discount tire, they pulled me back there to show me on the balance wheel the tire was visually out of round. Firestone after I went back and complained about them want me to pay 2xx.xx dollars for two new ones. this was after they told me they were discontined. They were poorly, IMO, I rotate every 4-5k. like said above they suck in an inch of snow.

None of the warehouses in the region have my tire size. I decided to go with a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. They are pretty aggressive, but still do well in snow and on the road. Hopefully will have pics of the new wheels/tires/bumper next week :D

Look at my pics guys! I have them and I have had them for over 20,000, maybe close to 30 I forget, but I swear that they are close to half tread. I rotated them about every 10,000, they do nice on highway, aren't too noisy, and when you get in some sloppy stuff they are wicked!

Couldn't get the Firestones, but it worked out well because I really like my new Wrangler DuraTrac tires. Not quite as aggressive as an all-out mud tire, but still way better than an A/T. See garage for new pics :D
