Has anyone with a van had the leaky trans lines?
It seems to me in my reading in here that alot of it in the trucks has to do with the high idle when cold. Which is why my LBZ truck probably hasn't seen it yet. Usually when I start the truck on cold days, I let it idle for a minute or two and head for the eway driving like in old man for the 2 or so miles till I get there.
The van is a totally different story. On days I drive the van it usually goes something like this: Start the van, high idle kicks in after a short time, go about loading the stuff I need for the work day, tools, supplies, equipment, clipboard from inside the house, grab my coffee, give the wife a smooch, and in back in the van.
So is it the fluid, the different transmissions, pumps, or different lines that is causing all the leaking truck tranny lines?
Just a thought, has anyone with leaky tranny lines cross ref'ed the van lines to see if they would fit? I would if I could......
