I'm new to the forum, so please excuse me if this has been covered a million times, but I'm at work and our network is having issues which makes a search take forever.

I have to replace the pads and rotors on my 2005 2500HD Ext. Cab. My question is which pads are best for towing? Ceramic, semi-metallic, carbon-metallic.

Also with the 2005 2500HD what are some things to look out for when doing the back rotors? I've heard they can be a real pain to get off.
