Correct me if i'm worng, but people usually put 35's on with a 4 inch lift. I don't know if you could put that big of a tire on without a lift

that would require a lot of cutting!

No matter what, the Truck is going to HAVE TO be atleast Leveled, and still a decent amount of Trimming.

check my garage! brand new 35 12.50 km2's on 18 by 9 -6mm backspaced xd ambush's with just offroadunlimited level kit (reindexed level keys and extended length bistein 5100's brushed aluminum lookin shocks) i ran 33 12.50 toyo mt's on 18 by 10 4.5 backspaced m.t. classic locks before this (also seen in garage) like look of 35's much better!!! fit just as good if not better as crazy as it sounds! now for the cutting! simply use razor blade on the lower front bumper valance corner to trim nice curve to match body line but fit tire then ziptie back park brake cable on drivers side then take power grinder with cutting disk and cut metal behind fender liner on bottom of front fenders just in front of door jam! wher fender curves around into the bottom flat part of rocker! basically start at bottom corner of fender flare and cut angle straight back to the bolt closer to frame side of the bottom of the fender on flat rocker part after cutting this piece out smooth down with grinder including the verticle seem that runs up in this area on bottom of inner fender then spray with rubberized undercoat to seal bare metal from rust then simply lay back down inner fender liner over it completely hiding it and cut small slit in liner with razor to feed ziptie through to tie it back against the metal portion you just cut THIS COMPLETELY HIDES CUT UNNOTICABLE AS IF STOCK AND 35'S FIT NO RUB EVEN AT TURNS INTO STEEP DRIVEWAYS FLEXING AND SPEEDBUMPS ECT.... TORSIONS NOT EVEN MAXED OUT YET EITHER! NOW I HAVE 2" REAR BLOCKS AND THINKING OF INSTALLING THEM AND CRANKING TORSIONS 2 MORE INCHES (IF THEY HAVE THAT MUCH LIFT LEFT) TO STAY LEVEL JUST TO SIMPLY GIVE MORE LIFT APPEARANCE AND EVEN BETTER CLEARANCE! POSSIBLY MAY LOWER UPPER CONTROL ARM DROOP STOP JUST SLIGHTLY IF NEEDED!!! OH YEAH PITMAN IDLER BRACES AND TIE ROD SLEEVES A MUST! INSTALLING MINE ASAP ON THE BRAND NEW PITMAN IDLERS JUST PUT IN FRIDAY UNDER WARRANTY! TIRES ONLY BEEN ON 2 DAYS AND THE PITMAN IDLERS STAY ON MY CONCIOUS AS THEY ARE NOTORIOUS TO WEAR OUT HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND OTHERS ALSO PEOPLE PLEASE GIVE ME OPINION ON MY NEW LOOK AND THOUGHT TO CRANK AND ADD BLOCKS FOR MORE HEGHT AND POSSIBLE LOWER OF UCA DROOP STOP

I have an 01 with the 8.1 in it. Leveling kit and 33's. Fit fine with stock rims, but when i put new rims on I went with 4 1/4 backspace and then they rubbed. Had to go from nothing on the top of the bumper to like an inch plus on the bottom to clear when turnig into the drive. I would hate to see how much cutting would be needed for 35's with no lift.

D-nasty I think I would install the 2 inch blocks. It looks to me if you tow anything or put anything in the bed You'll be rubbing on your rear fender/wheel well area. I like the look alot thou.

get a lift kit to run those big of tires, unless you are willing to let someone trim the heck out of your truck.

Thanks Bowhunter Think I Gona Do Blocks In 2 More Inches Up Front If It Has It If Not Cut And Lower Droop Stop Slightly

you can fit 315's (35's) on stock rims just dy leveling it and you wont have to do very much trimming... when you go to aftermarket wheels you get a diffrent off set and thats what starts to limit you on tire size...

right now i have 33" wildcountrys on stock 16" alloy rims with a few cranks of the tbars. im thinking of a leveling kit and maybe 2-3" body lift. not sure if ill do 35's or stay with 33's.
my truck is a 2002 2500hd duramax. i think i might need new tbars. but what keys should i get and how much lift will i get? and ill prob do 2 inch rear blocks

all the key kits are about the same amount of lift... 1.5 to 2 in i had a buddy of mine with an 02 that did the key lift and had 315 buckshots on there and that thing was sick lookin. i told him he was crazy when he traded it and went to the dark side with a dodge.

Yes you can put 35's under your truck with no lift or leveling kit. I believe Fingers is running this set up but there was cutting and custom (finger built) front fender flares to achieve this.

Here is my '01 2500HD 4x4 gasser with 35x12.50x17 BFG Mud Terrains on H2's with zero lift and a lot of trimming. I did nothing to the rear, however the front needed trimming of the front bumper, front and rear of the fender liner (I used zip ties to pull it forward on the front as much as I could), and then trimming of the body seems at the rear of the fender.

I'll post some pics when I get to the shop.. I had 35's on stock wheels. It was tight, but they cleared fine after I trimmed the inner fenderwells and bumper a bit.

Ill get my pics posted up this week. Im picking up my wheels tomorrow....Mounted on them are 315 75 16's Baja Claws. I've got 2" block out back and leveling keys up front. Didnt need much work at all for them to get under there. Wheels are a 16x8 with a -6 offset. I was gonna go with a 0 or try to find a positive. But tire shop was willing to give me one hell of a deal on something they had in stock. Tried em out and they fit. Came home tonight and did a little massaging to ensure the rub at full lock. 10 min later on each side all was good and you cant even tell. Im picking them up tomorrow and ill get some pics up.

This is awesome that you guys are actually doing this, i think the look is way sicker than a huge lift and these donk ass tires. Ive said it before i want to see a 4" with 37's. Am i really going to have to be the one to do it?

Chevy1925 is planning on doing a 6" wth some 39's!! Its gunnn look sickkkk!
