Now 4 weeks later its doing it again. im affraid to get on it ever because i just dong like how its shifting harder. has 64,000 miles on it now...did tranny flush around 50,000 and replaced the spin on last week. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had the same problem, take off the PPE chip for a few day and see if it goes away. I love PPE but it started to make my and my buddys truck shift really hard. My was so bad i was looking a getting my trans rebuilt. took of the ppe and problem gone.

Well i took the PPE off, took it on a 300 miles drive today and the problem still remains...1 to 2 is fine, 2-3 is a bit rough, 3-4 is worse and 4-5 shift is dandy smooth. So i think im just going to take it to the dealer and see what they can do... Any chance this is on warranty....its at 65,000 miles....and i thought powertrain was 70,000 miles/3 years....so the 3 years may get me. Correct me if im wrong...also for having them just check for any problems what do they charge at the shop for that/say if there isnt a warranty? Thanks!

No did not do any reset, i figured i wouldnt need to because im taking power away. I have only reset it once and that was when i first got it, and i have also heard not to do it too much because it slips so damn much at the beginning, which isnt good for anything. But what the hell, i will reset her today.

I took my Predator tune out jsut before Christmas because I thought I was having some injector problems. Mine will do this to from time to time, running the 65hp tune. Let your trans relearn itself first and it will go away. I drove with out the tune for about a month and within a week all the shifts were nice and smooth.

ok new update....reset the tranny last week....and i tell you what...that sure did the trick...i jus dont understand the reason on why i had to reset it. I just did it last year and that was when i had the tune set on 90hp now i just had is set to the 30hp tow/milage mode. And it would just act up randomly at times. But oh well it works now, i really want to put the tuner back on but not sure if its a good idea too again?? and suggestions on this? Thanks!
