I have a 6.2 that will end up on a manual transmission once I put it in my truck. The IP has a TPS and I am curious what it does. The EGR stuff is coming off....I mean all the stuff is faulty, yea, that's it; faulty so I have to take it off. What else does the TPS do and do I need it for the truck to run?

The TPS controls the torque convertor lockup. If you are going to manual you can delete it.

So I need nary a wire attached to this thing? Thanks, Traveler.
