I just got my truck finished last friday 08 gmc 2500hd dmax. I love the way the truck looks and it rides pretty good, but the thing is a handfull to keep on the rode at highway seeds. The steering is way more loose than when It was stock and it just seems to woonder all over the road. I had a 04 dodge with a 6 inch lift and 37's before this and i never had any issues with it at all it drove great with the lift. Is this normal or is something a little off? Btw its the 7-9 kit with the upgraded front end parts, uca's,bilstein shocksand a 5.5 inch block with a add a leaf in the rear, set at about 8.5 with 22x37 toyos. Thanks for any help

Definately not normal. My truck only has 9k miles on it and the steering still seemed to be a little TIGHTER with the lift then before. I would check the pitman arm, tie rods, ball joints, and all the front end over. Sounds like something was possibly left loose.

Are you sure its not just the wider tires wanting to veer with the crown and imperfections of the road? Could also be an alignment issue. Did they align to the specs in the instruction manual?
