I have a 2006 duramax lbz crewcab. Just brought it in to have the tranny cooler lines replaced, they were leaking. I have been offered GM extended warranty info and prices for the last few years.
With GM possibly going under, should I still consider their warranty, or is their a reputable third party warranty company out their that would be just as good or better than GM?
My truck currently has 35,500+ miles on it.My buddy who has a Dodge with the cummins in it thinks I am crazy not to get any protection with these diesel trucks,he bought an extended warranty from doge when he bought the truck. He is also a diesel mechanic and said when they break they are very expensive to fix.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.
