put 4" stainless exhaust, fingerstick and blockoff plate. Don't know if it really perfoms better (powerwise) need to dyno, but fuel economy changes have been drastic.. Ran the muffler on the system for about 2 weeks sounded good, removed muffler and installed straight pipe sounds great in the cab. But man is it loud with the windows down:ro) . Don't know if i'm gonna leave it that way although fuel economy even showed a 1mpg change for the better also. sounds wierd at an idle/ a cross between a jet engine and and two volkswagon bugs (the real bug not these new high tech fakies). any one else try this and what do you think? And what about a resonator tip improve the sound or not?:grd:

So you ran with no kat but had the muffler on?? I am running the kat, but no muffler and my truck is not really any louder. I was kinda looking for some more noise, I guess that I am going to have to loose the kat!! I might just be used to the old 6.0 gasser and flowmaster!

If God wanted you to run a cat and a muffler, it would be hard for you to sit down on a chair. :D

I'm running straight pipe, and it's not very loud. Drove to Texas and back towing with it, and it was fine.

Where is the best place to get a stainless 4inch pipe to replace the muffler? I have a MBRP exhaust.
