Took delivery of my Dually with visible rust on the wheels .. made the salesman and his manager make a note and told them I wanted it fixed .. not spending $45K on rig and getting rust with it .. This was a month ago .. I have spoken to a number of owners recently and they have gotten the "oh well" from their dealers ..

It sucks having a dealer with that attitude. I know my dealer would have taken care of it with no questions asked. I know it's easier said than done but it is amazing what horsepower you have if you say " I'll sign the papers when the wheels are fixed.

My personal opinion on the 3500 is what the f Censored

on a 50k dooley not having aluminum wheels. Every light duty and medium duty truck in the gm fleet except the 3500 has an aluminum wheel option. I bought my own! If gm is so worried about their stock prices why do'nt they quit doing stupid things to cheapen expensive trucks.

From what I've read on the 3500 Dually's was that they come with the steel wheels because of their higher load capacity vs. the aluminum. But I definitely agree that they should be made to look a bit nicer. I just wish I could figure out why the heck do they don't offer a 3500 SRW SB!?!?:confused:

My guess is you can't get as heavy a load in a short bed. I know, I know, that sounds like a lame answer.

Contact your factory service rep, tell them you want it fixed ands its lkittle things like this that make GM customers go Dodge or Ford. I told them there might be a Tundra in my future after 53 years of GM loyalty, got help right away.
