For mine, since new, about 207°F at full temp. If it's cool out the temp will cycle between 185-207°F. I believe that is the normal temps for the 2 thermostats.

If it is cold out or no load on the engine, it will take a long time for the temp to come up. The radiator is sized for full load conditions in hot weather.

Is there something wrong with my LB7 then? Even in the summer months my temp only goes up to 190F... only when I am really getting on it will it go beyond that and I have never seen anything above 200F

On edit: Those temps are from the digital readout on the Edge Attitude monitor.

StraitDiesel,

I doubt that there is anything wrong with your truck. My readings were taken off the analog in the dash. Your's is a digital readout. Gauge calibrations will vary from type to type.

Put 10,000 lbs behind your truck, then measure your temps over 50 miles. I'm pretty sure both of the T-stats will be full open.
