I only have 1700 miles on this truck. The rear brakes are squealing when backing up. I have taken this to the dealer and was told that all discs do this. I basically told him that his explainantion was BS and they needed to contact someone about this if they don't know how to fix it. Anyone else having this issue?

My brakes make noise on and off, got used to it.

I was told the same thing about my 04. However mine do it almost every time you hit the brakes

mine only squeak when the roads are really muddy, but tend to stop after things dry up. Our dusty roads seem to make them squeal every now and then. But as far as backing up I've never heard them make noise, and I've never heard of that being a problem with disk brakes....but what do I know.

My 03 3500 drw was doing it when I bought it with 6000 miles on it.I have 21000 miles on it now.Just got use to it.Figure I'll fix it when it's time for pads.
