I will handle it on my new website. You can order online there for convience. GMpartsdirect will be cheaper on most everything but they make there money on shipping, I know, I have talked to one of the parts guys down therehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

It will be up and running by the first of the year.

1bad01-

"Grape juice" is the endearing term seasoned GM owners call the GM brand of differential fluid. That's because it's aroma is somewhat that of grape juice.

This mysterious elixer commands a high price and has specifications that only the GM brand has.

Some have chosen to use it and to seek out places that deep discount it. Others have chosen to use a quality synthetic.

OBTW, Poorloser, unless you have the C3500HD (cabchassis), I think you probably need 75-90 vs the 140.

Checked the manual @ the shop:

1996 and up 3500HD
with Dyna 11" is 75W-140 GL5 syn GM part # 12378261
all other models:
2000 and up with GMT400 is 75W-90 GL5 syn GM part # 12378261
1999 is 80W-90 GL5 GM part # 1052271 preferred

Use Syn 75W-90 part in front differential when excessive effort is required to shift into 4WD

Can we use the same fluid in the front an rear differentials, Is one viscosity better for harsh use, such as truck pulling. I would like to know cause I need to change them.
