Searched it but really couldnt find it. Pretty sure I know the answer, but I think alot of people dont so thought I would ask; Whats the trailer weight limit for the stock reciever and how much trailer is everyone actualy towing w/it???

Im pulling 10k and using the sleeve w a 2-1/2" ball :o: Thanks for the response!

I don't recall the numbers off the top of my head, but you have a label on the hitch that spells it out.

OEM receiver on 2006LLY/LBZ is a 2" receiver and is rated at:
7500lb trailer, 1000lb tongue weight if weight carrying ball mount
12000lb trailer, 1500lb tong weight if weight distributing hitch

Don't know if LMM with 2.5" receiver increased at all in ratings, but I think it is the same or close to it. Also, do you mean a 2 5/16" ball? I am not familiar with a 2 1/2" ball.

1 7/8", 2", and 2 5/16" are the ball diameters that I know as "standard"

Im pretty sure its 13,300 with weight dist hitch. at least thats what my 08 says.

I'm not the same class, but I haul my camper just shy of 10k on my 2" receiver with about 1000lbs on the 2-5/16" weight-distributing hitch. I think the boat weighs around 8000lbs on the standard 2-5/16 hitch with about 500lbs tongue. The stock receiver on my '03 Dmax is a class V I believe.
