Power Pup'd my LLY today with the BullyDog Power Pup. Set to level three and was amazed at what the truck would now do :ro) . The trans is relearning right now so I expect that it will only get better with time. I mostly went with the Pup because of cost and the ability to correct for tire size. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? What should I do next? I'm looking for best mileage. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run my Pup on the 70hp setting all the time. If you keep it under 70 on the interstate you should see around 22mpg. Around town im getting just under 16 having just a little fun. My tranny seems to hold the 90hp setting but im not trying to put in a new tranny right now, you might want to watch that. Other than that im happy with my Pup you shouldnt have any problems with yours. Definately should get some gauges as Slick said. Also, the Bully Dog 4" exhaust helped a lot, noticed more power with that installed. im sure any other aftermarket exhaust is good too.

I would love to get 16 and 22 in mileage. Do you happen to know what RPM you are turning at 70? I assume yours will be slightly different than mine as I'm running 265s and have a snug top. Less tire and less drag. Let me know if you don't mind!

the power pup screws the mpg you need to check by hand

Not only do you need to calc by hand, but notice that 'bullydogpowered' is running an '02 (LB7). According to most on here the LB7's are getting much better mileage than the LLY's because of their lack of emissions items like the CAT and EGR. I'd love to see 20 too. But the best so far was 17.4 all highway running about 73-75 on winter blend w/o my Juice.

Best I have got was 17.76 MPG on the Highway running all sorts of speeds, Usually around 16/16.5 running back and forth to work 50 couple miles each way mountians 12% grades to a little highway 70mph I am right around 2k rpm depending on terrian....Oh yeah get a pyro at the least
