Replaced a cracked crossover today and it made the world of difference on how well the truck runs. Seems to warm up quicker as well. I suppose if I had thought it out better I would have known:o:

I thought that mine was just a leaking donut but when I took it in (Too cold to do it myself). They told me it was a cracked crossover. $302.00 later and alls well. (He also told me he broke 4 of the bolts (extra $90.00). It all started as a $60.00 to $80.00 Job:( DieselSlug 01-08-2009, 03:58 PM YUP!!!!, My truck is sooooooo rusty, i mean like really bad..... So everyjob i do on it is 20x harder, i break everything i take apart. So im thinking they wont be able to get mine apart EASILY, the exhaust system on my truck is sooo rotted it looks like tree roots coming out of the motor. I had a bear of a time putting my 4'' exhaust on. Had to take the hole pass inner and outer fender off to get a sawzall in there to cut the band. I love my truck but it really needs a new motor and body. Frame is in excellent shape tho, dont ask me how, it was ziebarted....
