Well I installed the mouthpiece tonight and thought id share my findings. First off it was an easy install, didnt take more the a half hour. The first thing I noticed was the oil and why everyone is making a fuss about rerouting PCV's. I fully understand this concept now and am getting a kit tomorrow! The oil was as thick as peanut butter and i could scoop it off the lly mouthpiece with my finger, it even dripped oil when I took it off. Second learning experience is dont let your buddy cut the intake tube with a hack saw. It looks like crap and now i want an LBZ tube. Will that tube work? Any feedback or advice would be great on that. For performance I didnt think there was going to be a noticable difference but to me there definatly was. Turbo spool seems quicker and I would say there was a bit of a power increase overall all be it small every little bit counts. I would recommend the part and think its another step in the right direction. thanks to all who have helped answer my questions!

I cut my tube right at the warning label with my miter saw, nice clean cut, I held it in upside down to cut it straight due to the curve. I too think it made the truck run better, also did the pvc reroute at the same time, then did the egr block two days later, now waiting for the tx air box mod.

I got an LBZ MP for pretty cheap...but its so worth it and yeah you can feel the gains to. I can feel them in my a** as its planted in the seat even further and I can see them in my fuel mileage. Picked up a bit, not a miracle by any means but noticeable.

Whats the difference between the LBZ mouth piece and the kodiak mouth piece? Is one just bigger than the other? and if i was to do this is this supposed to work better than going and buying a whole intake system?

The 2 MPs are the same thing, but the Kodiak one doesn't have the hole in it for the resinator. Its more clean looking and doesn't need a stupid plug or cap.

The LBZ mouthpiece is longer than the Kodiak and both are longer than the LLY mp.I believe the ID of the LBZ is slightly bigger all the way through than the Kodiak MP.
