The dealers can detect any programmer/chip which could void your warranty. The Edge Juice w/ Attitude and Banks install after the computer and modify the signal the computer sends to the engine. Since it's after the computer, it doesn't leave any "footprints" on your computer but do you really want to pull that setup out of your truck before taking it to the dealer everytime. The other thing is to do like Kennedy's setup (Kennedy is a supporter of this site, see links below) and swap ECM's. You get 2 ECM's one with a tune and one that is stock. Put the stock one in before you take it to the dealer (which is easy to do) and they can flash over that then switch the computer with the tuned one when you get it back. The only down side to that is since the stock computer isn't in your truck the dealer shows you're DPF hasn't "regenerated" and throws a flag. Now if you remove your DPF you don't have to worry about showing regens on the computer but the dealer will see you don't have a DPF and goodbye warranty. You will find a very common phrase on this site that is very true:

"You have to pay to play!"

I would go with the Banks products if you are wanting to keep your DPF, they have great tunes that are very clean.
