Anyone running the Bank's monster exhaust LB7 kit without the cat on a LLY. If so is it setting any codes? And is the cat back system alone worth the high price tag.

I didnt notice much with the cat back. I dont know much about the Banks kit either. I ended up getting a finger stick for a complete 4" front to back exhuast. Once the cat was removed I noticed a good drop in cruising EGTs and the rate in which the EGT cool down after a hill, acceleration, etc.

I have the LB7 kit on my LLY, Its great. You can feel the acceleration difference. You have more throtle with less lag time compared to stock. No codes yet. And my EGT's have never gone over 900, without towing and thats workin it. Now all I need is my edge or Six Gun, dont know what to go with, yet. But the Banks is worth the money, great quality and a nice fit. Easy to install.

I am running the Bank's six gun and love it, but I need to do something to lower my egt's whether just change the down pipe or go with a complete LB7 kit. how long have you been running the LB7 kit and would it be possible to put the downpipe with the cat in in back on with your system if needed.

I have the banks cat back and love it! I noticed an inprovement also. Someone talked to banks about removing the cat, they said only a 3% gain on the dyno...not much!

3% Does Not Sound Like Much, But You Will Feel The Difference In The Peddle. It Does Not Take Long At All To Swap The Down Pipes Out, 30 Maybe. Its Well Worth It.

But will it throw codes?

Anybody see better fuel milage from just the Banks exhaust and no other mods?

No codes yet, and I picked up about .5 mpg. Not much but at $2.70 a gallon its ok.
