The tcase appears to be shifting, because I can get into 4 lo. The front diff appears to be working and locking to the front drive shaft. But the front drive shaft spins free of the transfer case telling me there is a mechanical failure inside the tcase. Are these things chain driven? What can I expect to find in there?

I have the tcase apart it is mechanical, thanks anyways.
