Is there a difference in the egt drop between installing a cat back on the LLY and installing a LB7 downpipe and a cat back?
Does the Kat pipe really interfere that much?

I dropped the cat, but went with the 4" down pipe. EGTs dropped about 75-100 cruising speed. The huge difference was what Socal said, they dropped faster.

When my kitty ran away I saw the same drop in EGT's. Towing is where you'll really see it though. Anywhere from 150-200 degree drop over what it was.

Wow, for a second there I thought McRat and Kat were having marital problems.

I have an '02, so I don't worry about a cat. So, I have nothing to add.

God I hadn't thought of that.

That would be really bad since my wife should be getting her 'Vette in about 6 months and I was hoping to have some of KAT rub off on her.):h ):h ):h

Im catless and strait piped on my LLY and pulling a 16 ft enclosed trailer loaded pretty heavy I was seeing 1000 to 1100 deg. consistantly, juice on 1.
