Just looking around on summits website and I came across Dorman Oil Cooler Connectors and the description is:

"Leak-free connectors for your engine oil cooler system.
These Dorman oil cooler connectors are designed to keep your engine oil cooler operating properly. They are manufactured from quality materials and are available in different sizes to fit your specific engine. Whether you are replacing connectors or trying to stop a leak, Dorman oil cooler connectors will provide a leak-free seal and eliminate the problem."

Is this an actual fix for our situation? Do these connect into the block? The application says its only for a van from 94-96.

Not sure if I can post a link but If I am allowed to I will.

Just looking on everyones 2 cents. Thanks

I have ued many doorman products and have seen on many that they go out of there way to change the problem the oe has. I have used oil lines on 5.7 4.3 and thing other than our 6.5s. I cant say that I see much diffrence in the doorman lines to oe. The best fix for the money that I have see for us is in the stickys with a new cooler and lines. That is the way I will go for my next set. And that should my last.

Yes, I do know the absolute best solution is the kits with the new lines and coolers, but of course everyone is always looking to save some money. My lines are only leaking a tiny tiny bit so Im not in a bind right now, just came across the fittings and thought id ask.

As with the bind for money I do undrstand. But any time you fix somthing twice you lost time and money. If I were in a bind and had to do mineI would hope As a worst case I could borrow the money from my bills And then play catch up. In doing that I would hate to think it was just for now. It would feel better to know that I was done with that.
