How much longer is a crew cab than a extended cab ? I have to make a tight turn into the garage and the ext cab I now have is close. All I see at dealers is crew cabs.

My 04.5 GMC CC is 240" (239.5") or 20 ft. from front plate to the back of the bumper.

A CC-SB has a wheelbase of 153.0", Overall 237.2", Turning Circle 49.6'.
A EC-SB has a wheelbase of 143.5", Overall 227.7", Turning Circle 46.8'.

Edmunds.com has this info and I believe it is correct.
Hope this helps.

the crew cabs definately dont turn that well, this is my second crew cab sb, you just get used to it. years ago i had an ext cab sb and it turned much better than now. i got these huge ruts in the grass because my truck doesnt make the turn into my drive...eventually i will have to widen the drive.

Thanks, That truck will be a bear to fit in the garage. I only have nine foot doors and have to make a turn to get in now. I can widen the doors to ten feet but hate throwing away a good door.

try backing in, seems to work in parking lots. as long as your garage is long enough to park these land yahts

well idk about you guys but my dad's crew cab long bed turns shorter than his old 89 extended cab long bed ever did.

My 04CC turns TONS better than my 95EC ever did. It still catches me off guard when I'm doing that swerve right to pull a left U-turn trick and end up in the inside lane.

You should test drive one and take it to your house!

One nice thing about driving these tuna boats is you never get door dings........... Because you can never get that close to the front of a shopping center to be around other cars. I have enought trouble flipping a u-turn on a 4 lane highway here in Cali. It's all good.
